Great tour by Mihai. Lots of information provided about Romanian history and traditional ways of life in the countryside.
Iancu made my day! :) The tour is wonderful itself, but with Iancu is another level! He is such a friendly, knowledgeable and funny guide. He gave me a lot of interesting information regarding Romania, we visited some amazing places that I wouldn't know and I wouldn't do by myself. He is super flexible and he stopped every time I wanted to take pictures (he loves photography as well and for me it was big plus!). He really did everything in his power to make me happy and to enjoy the day. The top was the picnic over Dumesti admiring an amazing sunset! He also gave me lots of suggestions for my next days in Romania. Merci Iancu :)
Romanian friend were very helpful at making suggestions and arranging a bear watching experience with Simona who was an excellent guide. We saw lots of bears and learnt a great deal.
Our driver/guide Leo was exemplary in providing background details, translating the boat driver's commentary and explaining the local customs. The sand island tour into the forest was particularly interesting for we Australians have the largest sand island in the world, but despite different hemispheres and climates, the botanical parallels were obvious. A tour we highly recommend.
