We went on the safari with our guide Alex, and it was great! We had incredibly bad weather just as we were starting out, but he was pragmatic and drove us to another place where we had a better chance of seeing bears given the conditions. We went to a place with beautiful scenery and saw a bear and other wild animals. Alex was extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and a great guide for us.
The team at Romanian Friend guided us to book this trip and it was exactly what we were looking for. Excellent trip with Florin. Well-paced and very informative. Would recommend Florin to anyone wanting to see Maramures and Bucovina.
We were happy using Romanian Friend for our bicycle trip. Our guide Liviu was very responsive when we asked questions via WhatsApp. The tour itself was very interesting and I learned a lot about Timisoara, Romania and their history. I can recommend both Romanian Friend and Liviu.
