Wildlife Watching & Tracking Trips
Romania's diverse and unspoiled geography hides some of Europe's best preserved natural habitats for wildlife and vegetation. Besides the Danube Delta, a natural wonder and UNESCO protected site, the Romanian Carpathian Mountains are unspoilt and very well preserved, home to a large number of wild animals. Ready for some wildlife tracking and exploration?

Reviews about Wildlife Watching & Tracking Trips

I went on this tour and the same tour the following day so I will share my feedback for both here. Both trips were fantastic, Simona was so knowledgeable and gave us so much valuable information. Simona explained the issues with overpopulation and the reason for the food stations and the positive impact they were making for the region. It was so exciting to see the bears on both days (8 the first day, 9 the second). I hope to come back again with other members of my family

Bear watching tour was OK. Saw lots of bears.

Our tour was really lovely. We enjoyed the full day tour on the Danube the most as we got to see the most scenery and wildlife. Our boat captain in particular was fun, adventurous and made the trip especially enjoyable.

Overall, a brilliant trip. The Danube Delta is beautiful and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature, birds and other wildlife. A wonderfully peaceful and tranquil place. We saw abundant species of birds and plants. Plenty of trips on the delta itself, at all times of the day, so you get to see birds etc at feeding time, nesting time etc. Sunrise tour also on offer. The last day was spent visiting Letea, a traditional village (where we had a delicious lunch), and visiting a forest and sand dune areas. Our two guides (Julian and Cosmin) were very knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. We were in a group of 12, so small enough to get to know each other well during the trip. Our accommodation was basic, but clean and we had a spacious bathroom. Food was simple, but fresh and plentiful. Based on local river fish, but other choices were available.
