Reviews about Romanian Local Life: Food, People & Cultural Tours

My sister and I shared a delightful day with Elena exploring the Obor Market and other locally known food stops. Elena was knowledgeable about the history of the areas we encountered. She was friendly and welcoming. I am in Bucharest another week and plan to take my husband to all the places Elena introduced me to because they were so good!

It was a fascinating tour and an amazing experience to imagine how people lived. Would highly recommend this visit!

Using Romanian Friend to book our bear watching tour was easy and quick, and the communication with Simona to organise the details was excellent. Best of all, we saw beautiful bears and learned so much from our guide. We will use Romanian Friend again!

Absolutely fantastic tour with Ioana who was hugely knowledgable, personable and thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our immersion in to communist rule and life in Bucharest in 1984. The flat was beautifully preserved and we felt very privileged to see it. I would thorough recommend. We had my 76 year old father with us and my 14 year old daughter and we all loved our experience.
