Reviews about Romanian Local Life: Food, People & Cultural Tours

Just the perfect mixture between sightseeing, tasting amazing food and listening to fun facts. Our tour guide was fantastic. Thank you!!! We can only recommend!! Thumbs up and thanks for an amazing tour!!

It's a fantastic tour, Andreea is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Romanian history and culture. We got local insight as we went through old and new districts. The highlight was Obor Market and skipping the BBQ queue to sample the wonderful Romanian dish 'mici' washed down with tasty local beer. I highly recommend this tour.

It was only over a week ago that our small group of four people completed a tour through Magura and Pestera, and we are still in awe of the beauty surrounding that area. Everything was green, with amazing views of the mountains on the background and you get to witness the rural life and culture of people living there. Our guide, Mihai did his best to answer all our questions, had a good amount of patience to wait after us to finish taking photos as everything was so picturesque. We are grateful for Marius's , Marian and Mihai's assistance, this was a trip we won't forget!

Marius from Romanian Friend matched me with another solo traveler so I pay less. Mihai was our guide and he took into account our suggestions and also made great choices himself for our 3 days tour in the region of Maramures. We visited many wooden churches, monasteries, villages, the merry cemetery in Sapanta and made a great journey in a Mocanita steam train. We had a great time. Come and visit this lush green region so full of little stories, nice wood architecture and sculpture..those Maramures doors and arches!!!
