Reviews about Romanian Adventures & Wildlife Tours
Romanian Friend was really easy to use to help plan or trip and the articles were extremely helpful. Our guide Adela was fantastic and we were very lucky to have her! Although we opted to do Sarmizegetusa Regia as an add on, I think it would be better to do as a separate trip. We didn't quite realize how out of the way it was and between the mine and the gorges, we already had a very full day! The mines were beautiful and whole we didn't really take advantage of the amusement park there (not our thing), seeing all the patterns on the wall was lovely. My favorite part though, was the hike through the gorges. Absolutely spectacular and I highly recommend taking the longer hike so you can see all the magnificence of this gorge!!
Romanian Friend was very user friendly as it is easy to navigate and book all their available tours. The articles were incredibly helpful and the descriptions of the tour was spot on! Mihai was our guide for this tour and he was highly knowledgeable about the hike and the area and was happy to share his knowledge when we asked and let us enjoy the beauty of our surroundings when we needed it. This tour was breathtakingly beautiful and I would definitely do this one again! Highly recommend this tour and booking with Romanian Friend!!
The hiking and wildlife weekend we booked with Romanian Friend was one of the best experiences we have had. We were incredibly lucky to have Tudor as our mountain guide, he was so knowledgeable about nature and where we were spending our time and was the best host we could have had. We had great meals, great hikes and some great opportunities to spot and hear the wildlife around the cabin. It has now become one of my favourite places I have visited.
Absolutely fantastic tour! I did a day trip from Timișoara to Retezat National Park for hiking, and it exceeded all my expectations. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kept sharing interesting facts and stories throughout the tour. The trails in Retezat are stunning, but honestly, I don’t think I could have navigated them safely or gotten as much out of the experience on my own. Finding this tour was such a lucky find for my solo trip. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore Retezat without the stress of planning it solo.
