Food & Wine Tours
You probably didn't know this, but Romanians love eating and drinking!
Benefiting from rich, fertile lands and a strong rural lifestyle and history, Romanian cuisine is dominated by products and dishes made with peasant (farmer) food: garden vegetables, livestock meat, dairies, nuts and fruits, all transformed into delicious dishes such as sarmale, _ciorba_ (sour soup), stews, cured meats, matured cheeses, fruity cakes or jams! What's more, Romanian gastronomy drew heavy influences from its neighbours, particularly Hungarian, Turkish or Slavic, so you will find some similarities or even familiar adaptations.

We had a very moment with our guide discovering Sibiu and tasty meals. I recomand this amazing tour.
Alix, our guide was wonderful! He had so much knowledge, present day historically. We had a wonderful time! Food was great. Love the sausages!!
My wife Ruth and I loved our tour with Mihai! We tasted a great range of of traditional meats, cheeses, seasonal fruit, and tasty main dishes - and some great coffee too! As we had just arrived in the city, so walking around some of the landmarks on the way was a helpful way of getting to know Cluj.
We had a very interesting time on this tour visiting places we would not have found on our own. Andrea our guide was excellent knowledgeable informative and a very good organiser. The food was delicious and the visit to the market memorable. A great trip to go on.
